Bio-based industries -hakujen infopäivä

Aika: 25.04.2018 klo 9:30 - 15:00

Paikka: Radisson Blu Royal (Runeberginkatu 2, 00100 Helsinki)

Info Day on BBI JU Call for proposals 2018

The Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) is a €3.7 billion Public-Private Partnership between the EU and the Bio-based Industries Consortium, aiming at increasing investment in the development of a sustainable bio-based industry sector in Europe. A strong European bio-based industrial sector will significantly reduce Europe’s dependency on fossil-based products, help the EU meet climate change targets, and lead to greener and more environmentally friendly growth. The key is to develop new biorefining technologies to sustainably transform renewable natural resources into bio-based products, materials and fuels.

Participants in the BBI JU projects are at the forefront of the development of the bio-based industries sector and at the same time create international networks to grow their business.

Dieter Brigitta, BBI JU Project Officer, will be presenting useful tips to help building successful applications to the Call 2018. Other presenters will highlight the EU and national strategic work and actions in the bioeconomy field.

The event is free of charge. The presentations can also be followed via webstreaming, with prior registration required.
